Most of Microsoft's .NET development languages are now fully Object Oriented in design; we can take advantage of the features which Object Orientation exposes by delivering OO designed and coded modules. In summary we can use any of the highly technical components delivered by Microsoft (for example; COM+/Enterprise Services, .NET Remoting, SOAP, Web Services) to build out the system you require.
